Family hostel Dalat Sky in Vietnam
I have visited 30+ countries and it also means I spent hundreds nights in different hostels around the world. Some of them are better, another worse. Mostly is all about the same but hostel Dalat Sky in Dalat Highlands is different and above all of the hostel where I have been.
It’s a young family hostel opened 2 months ago with 14 beds in dormitory room and several private rooms with total capacity 30 people. Prices start on 5 USD for dorm and 12 USD for private double bed room included delicious breakfast and warm welcome hug from 3 amazing young people taking care about the hostel.
Dalat Sky hostel is well located only 10 minutes walking from city center, market, many restaurants and pubs around. Also providing a lot of tours and activities around a town and beautiful highlands in central Vietnam.
What does make this hostel special? As I mentioned is family hostel and it means once u stay here, you become a part of family. Especially dinners are something what u don’t want to miss here. Pumpkin soup or traditional Vietnamese hot pot are the best dishes I have ever tried. Help in kitchen is always welcome. After dinner you can stay on rooftop and enjoy stunning sunset above town, participate Karaoke with hostel crew, visit live music pubs in town or night market.
This very clean, modern hostel with full of nice wall paintings provide everything what u might need during your stay, e.g. laundry, bus or train reservations, information where to go and what to see. If u are planning to visit central highlands in Vietnam make sure to book this hostel. Hostel crew, especially guy named Happy, brilliant chef and singer Uyen and her always smiling sister Vy made my 3 days in Dalat remarkable.
